(Video) Auto Talk: Porsche 911 Turbo, 911 GT3 caught with minimal cam

Practicing their final notes before they go on song for paying customers, three 991-series Porsche 911 GT3 prototypes were caught at a filling station in Catalunya, Spain almost completely uncovered. According to the photographer (working with an iPhone), two of them (foreground in the photo above) were wearing a host of extras from the options list, while the third appears to be a prototype set up halfway between a traditional 911 and a GT3: it has five-bolt GT3-style wheels and central exhaust, but standard 911 front and rear bumpers and rear wing. Auto Talk: More Jaguar F-Type images leak onto web before Paris debut

Just last week, we got our first look at what appears to be the production-ready 2013 Jaguar F-Type courtesy of a single leaked image, and now we can see even more of the new Jaguar thanks to a handful of new pictures from Autoweek.nl. Auto Talk: Maserati to show GranCabrio MC in Paris

Maserati sure seems to be milking the GranTurismo franchise for all its worth these days. In addition to plenty of limited editions and sport models for both the coupe and convertible, Maserati recently launched the MC version of the hardtop. Now, ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show, the Modenese automaker has dropped details on its latest iteration of the GT platform, the GranCabrio MC. Funk Flex

Auto Talk: Cheaper baby NSX back under consideration at Acura

Back in the salad days before the financial upheaval of 2008, Honda’s Acura division was reportedly planning to build not one, but two new NSX models. The first was/is the on again off again heir to the NSX throne (then a V10 rear-drive supercar, now the much ballyhooed hybrid all-wheel-drive affair revealed at January’s Detroit Auto Show). The second was to be a smaller, less expensive version, creatively dubbed by Honda internals as the “Small NSX.” Never let engineers name your pets, folks. Funk Flex

Auto Talk: Only about 5% of Chrysler dealers will sell SRT Viper

Back in May, we were the first to reveal that Chrysler was going to be requiring that its dealers meet certain special criteria to sell the 2013 SRT Viper. Now, USA Today is reporting that no more than 6.5 percent of Chrysler’s U.S. dealerships will earn the right to sell the new Viper. Of the 2,300 dealerships, “only about 100 to 150” will satisfy the qualifications SRT has deemed necessary to satisfy the “different kind of a customer” and “different approach” that the Viper requires. That’s far fewer outlets than the one-fifth of Chrysler’s dealer body that was rumored back in July. Funk Flex

Auto Talk: 2013 Honda CR-Z facelift revealed in Indonesia

We fully expected Honda to reveal its facelifted 2013 CR-Z hybrid at the Paris Motor Show next week, but instead, the Japanese automaker has brought its updated three-door to the Indonesia International Motor Show, and the people over at PaulTan.org were on hand to get the details. Funk Flex
