Lamar Odom is finally being given a chance to get back on the basketball court.  He would be competing against current and former NBA stars; it might be a big step in getting him back into the NBA.

Baron Davis made his debut last night for the Delaware 87’ers and early on it was apparent he still has some skills. His very first basket was a fast break dunk where he got off the floor with ease and then before you knew it he was hitting Steph Curry style shots from downtown. It remains to be seen if he will get a call from the Sixers to move up to the big show but looking at their roster I can’t see why they wouldn’t at least give him a shot.

NBA: Baron Davis Says He’s Going to Attempt an NBA Comeback

Baron Davis hasn’t played in the NBA in three years. The last time he was on the court, for the Knicks, in the 2012 playoffs, he suffered several torn ligaments in his right knee. This, combined with the fact that he’s 36 years old, would make it seem like his playing days are over. But he’s not quite ready to hang up his jersey just yet, instead he eyes an NBA comeback.

Former NBA player Baron Davis appeared on First Take on ESPN this morning to discuss the NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.  All anyone could focus on however was Davis’ new hairdo.
