Lil Yachty has a history with Ebro, as the Hot 97 personality has given the young rapper quite a hard time for his lack of lyricism and so-called “mumble rap” style. It doesn’t help that Yachty went on to disrespect both Biggie and Tupac, saying they’re overrated and that he can’t even name many songs of theirs. Instead of widening the gap that seems to be growing between the new and older generation in hip-hop, Yachty and Ebro decided to come together on Beats 1 radio on Apple Music yesterday and put everything on the table. During the interview, the guys discussed their “beef,” Yachty’s Biggie and Pac comments, why Yachty hates the “mumble rap” title and more.
