Meek Mill Calls Out Kendrick Lamar Before They Share The Same Stage This Weekend
Meek Mill and Kendrick Lamar have been at “odds” since August, when Kendrick name-dropped Meek and some of his rap peers in “Control.” Meek responded on wax a couple of weeks later, which resulted in Kendrick calling Meek out, live and direct on stage in the city he claimed the throne to, NYC. Meek, who was in the same town, replied on Twitter, but thankfully nothing more escalated from this. Today, however, Meek began gearing up for Friday night, when both rappers will share the stage at Philadelphia radio station Power 99’s annual concert, Powerhouse. Last night, TLC was on everyone’s minds as VH1 debuted their biopic, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. Having been influenced by them as a teen, singer Keri Hilson dug in her crates for her T-Boz wig, and posted a photo on Instagram, paying homage to her and thanking her for making it cool to be a tomboy in the 90’s. A fan RT’d Keri’s post with an unimpressed Emoji icon, which T-Boz then RT’d, appearing as if she co-signed the unimpressed feeling. However, I did a little digging…and I see that T-Boz tweets from Android. Meaning, she doesn’t even see the Emojis, so she likely had no idea what the face was that she RT’d. LOL! A couple weeks back, Chris Brown posted some old footage to his Facebook page and smartphone app, showing himself in the studio with a handful of big names…one of which includes his “rival,” Drake. Though it was at first believed to be new footage, with everyone thinking they’d squashed the beef, it still spoke volumes that Breezy was even willing to post it at all. If I’m sworn enemies with someone, I’m certainly not giving them any type of shine or acknowledgement on ANY of my social networks, ya know?! Now over the weekend, Chris was spotted in the club, rapping every single word to Drizzy’s verse on Migos’ hit song, “Versace.” He knew he was being watched, and he knew exactly what he was doing. Future Confirms It’s All Good On Drake’s Tour
Are you keeping track here? Future was tapped to be on Drake’s fall tour earlier this summer, then was kicked off because of some negative comments he said in an interview. Then they started talking about bringing him back for a lesser amount, but Future said no because he wanted more money. Jhene Aiko was rumored to be replacing him, but then last night, an Atlanta radio station said they’d gotten confirmation that Future was back in and things were worked out. This whole time, Future remained mum, but he finally took to Twitter today to make a statement that speaks loud and clear to him being back on the tour. Word is now that Jhene Aiko and Drake’s artist Party Next Door will still join them as well.
