#MusicStillMatters New Music: Common Ft. Gucci Mane & Pusha T – Black America Again Remix

Common just surprised fans with a remix to his Stevie Wonder featured track “Black America Again”. On the remix though, instead of Stevie singing the chorus, we have a combination of vocals from BJ The Chicago Kid, Bilal, John Legend, and Marsha Ambrosius. The song opens up with Gucci Mane showing a side many haven’t heard before, touching on the struggles of being a black man in a white country. Common also had his G.O.O.D. Music compadre Pusha T close out with a strong sixteen before the final chorus fades out.

Singer Bilal & His Crew Robbed At Gunpoint In Oakland While Filming Music Video

R&B/Soul singer Bilal was the latest victim of an armed robbery in Oakland, California. While the crooner was filming his newest video for his song “I Really Don’t Care,” he and his crew were ambushed by four masked men who were considered to be “armed and dangerous.” They robbed Bilal and his guys of some of the equipment that was being used to film the video. After a high-speed police chase, the Oakland PD were able to catch two of the four men and recover some of the equipment that was stolen. Oakland Police Department is asking anyone with any information to reach out to Robbery Unit at 510-238-3326. Bilal’s manager, Hans Elder, confirmed that everyone from their team is safe and unharmed, thankfully.
