If he drops the video in the next couple of weeks, it could certainly give him the push he needs…because though that was the plan with “Hotline Bling,” Adele’s “Hello” came and knocked him out of the water.


It’s Official: Desiigner’s “Panda” Is The Number One Song In The Country

Love him or hate him, Desiigner now has the number one song in the entire country. Revealed just moments ago, this week’s Billboard Hot 100 list sees “Panda” at the top spot, moving up from runner-up last week and dethroning Rihanna and Drake’s “Work” in the process. While he has yet to release a follow-up record, the way things are going now, it’s possible the “one hit wonder” stigma will float right past him, as it did Fetty Wap. Is Brooklyn in the house?!


Rihanna and Drake’s “Work” Hits No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart

Rihanna is killing the game! The bad gal recently released her eighth studio album ‘ANTI’ and had been breaking all kinds of records. Shortly after ‘ANTI‘ went platinum she was announced as the first artist in history to receive 100M song award. Monday, Rihanna dropped the video for her song single ‘Work’ featuring Drake and the song shot to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. This marks 14 number one record for Rihanna, breaking her tie with Michael Jackson. According to Nielsen Music, ‘Work’ has made a huge jump with 73 percent more streams, totaling 25.8 million. Adele Becomes The First Artist To Sell 1 Million Singles In A Week

Adele is breaking records left to right with her new single, “Hello.” After it was revealed that the UK songstress is on pace to move over a million units of the album “Hello” will live on, 25, now the official first-week sales of the song are in, and they’re also in the 7-figure range! “Hello” kicked off with a whopping 1,112,000 downloads – completely killing the record for most downloads sold in a week, previously held by Flo Rida’s “Right Round” at 636k in February 2009. The song also got an impressive 61.6 million streams in the U.S., becoming the second highest number ever since streaming began being counted in March of 2013. (That record still belongs to Baauer’s “Harlem Shake,” which peaked with 103 million – mainly because of all of the fan clips made dancing to the song.) 25 hits stores November 20.


Drake Just Scored His 100th Song On The Billboard Hot 100

Drake just surpassed James Brown in the hits club, now amassing his 100th hit on the Billboard Hot 100. While Brown had 91 hits, Drizzy how joins an elite group that only includes his mentor Lil Wayne with 127 hits, Elvis Presley with 108 hits and the cast of Glee with 207. The accolade comes thanks to the success of his joint album with Future, What A Time To Be Alive. Drake had previously been at 92 hits, but WATTBA gave him a whopping additional EIGHT Hot 100 songs. It’s lit.
