Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 5/25/14 … Coldplay Makes Biggest Debut Of 2014!
Coldplay’s new album Ghost Stories marks the group’s fourth number one album…as well as the biggest sales week of 2014 thus far! The project sold 383,000 copies in the week ending May 25, easily taking Eric Church’s crown, who previously held the title with “The Outsiders” moving 288k units in the week ending February 16. Rock duo the Black Keys nabbed their first number 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart this week with the release of Turn Blue, debuting with 164k copies sold.
