Miley “Twerks-A-Lot” Cyrus recently made a bet with producer Dr. Luke that had a $10,000 Numi Toilet on the line. The bet was that Miley’s “Wrecking Ball” wouldn’t hit #1 on Billboard’s Top 100 chart. Unfortunately for Dr. Luke, Miley’s song had no issue climbing all the way to the number 1 spot. Now her twerking behind will have a nice place to rest on with new expensive toilet, fully equipped with a Bluetooth receiver, a heated seat, and an LCD touch screen with a bunch of features to choose from. Future recently had a little chit chat with Billboard and went over the expected vibe for his up-coming album, Honest. The Atlanta artist was quoted as such, “Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do. I want to make you want to fall in love,” but now…deny deny deny. Future posts to his twitter account that he said no such thing. Talk about honesty! Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 9/29/13 … Congrats To Drake On The #1 Album!
Drake went gold his first week out, moving a whopping 658k units of his third studio album, Nothing Was The Same, this past week. It makes for the second highest overall debut this year (trailing Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience which did 968k), the highest rap debut and most importantly, Drizzy’s personal best sales week. His last album, 2011’s Take Care, started at number 1 with 631k, while his debut album, Thank Me Later, launched at number 1 with 447k in 2010. He just keeps on getting better!
