Yesterday morning, an energetic Travi$ Scott took over Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning to discuss his new album, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight (which is on pace for a number one debut.) I must say, I haven’t seen Trav this talkative in quite some time! During the interview, he discussed why he made such an intricate album title, his creative process for the music, watching Jay Z record, why he idolizes Kid Cudi, writing for other artists and more. Travi$ Scott’s album title is Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, which doesn’t make much sense. (He’ll break it down later in a new interview with Ebro In The Morning.) To complete the full effect, La Flame actually grabbed Brian McKnight himself, and got him to appear in a promo video for the project. Keeping directly with the theme, doves fly out of a cage as Brian sings “One Last Cry” while playing piano, and Travi$ is just there being Travi$. Epic. Check out the video below.
