Kenya Barris, the creator of ABC’s acclaimed comedy Black-ish, is teaming up with athletes turned producers Blake Griffin of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers and Ryan Kalil of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers to develop a remake of the 1992 sports comedy White Men Can’t Jump for 20th Century Fox.

Blake Griffin will become a free agent next summer and there’s questions about where he might end up.  After punching a since-removed Clippers trainer, and injuries, there were a lot of rumors about the Clippers trading Griffin but it never materialized.  Now with his free agency looming, there’s thoughts that he might go elsewhere as the Clippers have yet to make it past the second round of the playoffs.  However, the latest reports indicate that Griffin is staying put.


NBA: Blake Griffin Gets Green Light From Fox To Produce Animated Show Based On His Life

Blake Griffin is showing us this week that he has plans for life after basketball. He did a stand up comedy routine last week which was actually pretty damn funny and feels like if he took it serious he could do pretty well. Now we have news of him getting the “Ok” from Fox to produce a animated show loosely based on his own life.
