(Video) We’ve Found Frank Ocean!….and He’s Not Working On Music

While we’re still anxiously awaiting the oft-delayed Boys Don’t Cry, Frank Ocean isn’t really pressed about it. Amid the false promises on dates and unexplained live streams, the singer was spotted last night NOT at a studio, but out in the streets of L.A. with Tyler, The Creator and A$AP Rocky doing some street racing. Of course, he’s not supposed to be in the studio 24/7 so this is totally fine…BUT SH*T, WHERE IS THE DAMN ALBUM?! (Can you tell we’re anxious?) In the meantime, check out the footage below, via Rocky’s Snapchat.

Frank Ocean’s Producer Sorta Kinda Comments On Album Delay

Fans have been anxiously awaiting Frank Ocean’s sophomore album, Boys Don’t Cry, since he announced it over a year ago. It was supposed to come out last summer and has had multiple false release dates since then, with the most promising happening earlier this month when Frank began a weird live stream with Apple Music. A seemingly solid report was published saying that it would finally be released later that week, and of course, that still didn’t happen. Needless to say, fans are at their wits end! When Channel Orange producer Malay engaged in a fan Q&A on Reddit earlier this week, he was naturally bombarded with questions about the project, and after one fan wrote an extremely long essay, he finally decided to give a response – despite his initial disclaimer that he was not going to answer any questions about the album.

Frank Ocean’s Album “Boys Don’t Cry” Will Be Dropping Friday on Apple Music

One of the longest, most dragged out waiting saga’s in the history of music has finally come to an end. According to a NY Times Report, Frank Ocean’s highly anticipated sophomore album “Boys Don’t Cry” will be dropping this Friday exclusively on Apple Music. This coming after a mysterious live stream video of, well, nothing but building supplies and a cool looking speaker. The report from the NY Times states that a “major video” and print publication available at Apple Stores will be coming along with the rollout of the album. Also, the album will be a two week exclusive for Apple Music, with a more “widely available release” of the project following. Don’t say we told you, check out the link to the NY Times article below and get ready for Friday (if this is true).

Frank Ocean had everyone MORE than hyped last night, when fans expecting his album Boys Don’t Cry to drop as expected on July 31, didn’t. The twittersphere lost their minds waiting all day just to get nothing but an endless loop of a video on his website.

IAMSU! Confirms Frank Ocean’s Album Actually Exists

Over the weekend, an update to Frank Ocean’s website seemed to allude that his oft-delayed and highly anticipated sophomore effort, Boys Don’t Cry, would finally be arriving this month. Of course, fans were quite skeptical in believing this to be true, as the singer has given us more than enough false alarms in the past. However, Bay Area rapper IAMSU! is giving us some hope.

(Photos) We Have An Update On Frank Ocean’s ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ Album!

Earlier this year, Frank Ocean got us all excited when he revealed his new album Boys Don’t Cry would be coming….and here we are, still waiting. There were rumors it was going to drop in July, but the month came and went without any tunes from him, leaving us all wondering when in the world it will come! He even cancelled scheduled performances in the meantime, leaving us even more in the dark. We’ve now seemingly got a bit of an update, and though it’s not much – we’re taking anything we can get at this point. Frank’s barber, Rodney, posted a few Instagram photos cutting the singer’s hair in London, and captioned the pics promising the project is dropping “very soon,” and revealing that the album cover is “outta this world.” Hmm! He also referred to the title as Gz Ain’t Supposed To Cry – not sure if he was just freestyling that one oooor…
