Becky Folkard a British native will be putting on a gruesome scene in the streets in order to try and make a point and stand up for animals.  She is a vegan and an extreme animal activist so it only sounds right that she will do anything to try and get people to understand her point of view.  She will take it to the streets and press a super hot metal rod against a man’s chest and burn the numbers 269 on his skin.  It is only a demonstration, a painful one,but she wants it to last in people’s heads forever and I’m sure it will for some. Agency giant CAA, who traditionally represents actors such as Robert DeNiro and George Clooney, is now signing on corporations in order to expand their brands. Corporate branding is a company’s way of crawling into the consumer’s brain in an attempt to fuse it’s products or services into everyday life. CAA has found the old way of advertising is not as effective and clients need to collaborate with other corporations, services and other mediums in order to reach the masses. Apple has been facing major problems in China, all involving the difficulty of receiving a definitive status for their trademarks on the Chinese market. And Apple seems not to be the only one in this mess. Another giant is witnessing firsthand the cold shoulder of the Chinese authorities.
