Fashion: Check Out Different Styles On The NY Streets!

What is style? What is your definition of someone having style? Having style can separate you from others in the crowd and automatically help you stand out wherever you go. Style is defined with many different definitions these days. You have the people who feel the highest priced item will give them the most style then you have people who believe style is more of a character, the way you carry yourself and the way you can put a $10 outfit together and make it look extraordinary. Coco Chanel once said “Fashion changes, but style endures.” Everyday there is a new trend that emerges and everyday kids want to fit in with the latest trends. However, wanting to fit in is not always the answer keeping up with trends does not make you cool. People who have style most of the time could care less about others opinions, so there is no need to fit in. For example, if two people wore the same outfit which one do you think will wear it best? Someone who wears clothing just for the brand or someone who is wearing clothing simply to project their personality? In my opinion, the person who would wear the outfit best would be the person who wears their outfit to project their personality. How cool is it that the Atlantis Super Wash Center in Brooklyn was transformed into a neon-lit nightclub! where Solange Knowles performed for a small crowd as part of The Fader’s #uncapped series and vitaminwater. Solange definitely got into her zone though! “This laundromat really has me wanting to be a drama queen tonight, so excuse my theatrics,” said Solange before she began to sing “Losing You.” Followed by other tracks like “Bad Girls,” and a suitable cover of Nivea’s “Laundromat.”
