Burger King’s parent company, Restaurant Brands International, has now bought Popeyes for $1.8 billion dollars! This means that KFC has some real competition coming its way. As of now, KFC has 18,000-plus stores worldwide, compared to Popeye’s 2,600. With the now big collab, KFC’s Colonel Sanders just might need to keep a close eye.


NBA: Several Playoff Teams Are Interested in Signing Amar’e Stoudemire

Amar’e Stoudemire’s turbulent time with the New York Knicks is finally over.  Stoudemire, who was in the final season of a five-year, $99.7 million contract, reached a buy out agreement with the Knicks and intends to sign with a team in playoff contention after clearing waivers.  There were earlier reports that the Golden State Warriors are interested in signing in STAT but recent reports have debunked that.  Still there are other big teams reportedly interested in signing Amar’e.


NBA Report: Knicks Had Discussions About Buying Out Amar’e Stoudemire

As I said before, Phil Jackson and the New York Knicks are cleaning house.  They traded JR Smith and Iman Shumpert, released Samuel Dalembert, are trying to trade Jose Calderon and Andrea Bargnani and now they’ve discussed the possibility of buying out Amar’e Stoudemire.

NBA Rumors: Derek Fisher Wants To Join The Bulls or Heat

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl The Houston Rockets have finalized a buyout with former Los Angeles Lakers guard Derek Fisher. “After much discussion and expressing their desire to welcome Derek to their team this season as well as the 2012-2013 season, the Houston Rockets and Derek have negotiated a buyout,” Fisher’s business manager Jamie Wior said in a statement late Sunday night.
