(Photo) NBA: Umm Fan Gets a Bad Carmelo Anthony Team USA Tattoo

Fans often get tattoos of their favorite athletes, and though I don’t agree with doing it, the artists usually do such amazing jobs I have to compliment them.  This tat on the other hand is a major fail.

(Video) NBA: Others Get Robbed, Carmelo Anthony Walks Thru Favelas & Gets Mural Painted of Himself

As expected, there’s been some unfortunate incidents occurring with the athletes competing in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Some Australian athletes were robbed during a fire evacuation in the Rio Olympic village, which is the athletes Olympic housing, and USA swimmer Ryan Lochte was robbed at gunpoint as well as several other incidents.  Carmelo Anthony, however, walked through the favelas (the Brazilian slums) and got a mural painted of himself.

(Photo) NBA: @CarmeloAnthony Has A Message For Those Doubting His Desire To Win NBA Championships

Carmelo Anthony is fed up with people always doubting his desire and hunger to win at the highest level and he took to Instagram yesterday to clap back at the haters. In this case the haters include Stephen A Smith, who tried to go off on Melo over his comments about being happy winning Gold Medals if he never wins an NBA championship. Problem is the majority of the people talking crazy about Melo, Stephen A included, clearly chose which parts of Carmelo’s comments they wanted to hear and its making all of them look stupid.

NBA: Carmelo Anthony Passes LeBron James as U.S Leading Olympic Scorer

Carmelo Anthony has proven himself to not only be the leader of Team USA, but also the star of the team.  Anthony is the only men’s basketball player to participate in four Olympic games and now he’s the all-time leading scorer, passing LeBron James.

NBA: Carmelo Anthony Says an NBA Championship & Olympic Gold Medal are Pretty Much the Same

Carmelo Anthony has become the elder statesman and leader of the Team USA’s mens basketball team for the 2016 Rio Olympics.  Anthony is the only player in U.S men’s basketball history to compete in four Olympics.  He just passed Michael Jordan to become the United States’ third all-time leading scorer in the Olympics, behind David Robinson and LeBron James.  Anthony has six All-NBA selections, nine All-Star Game appearances, and a scoring title to add to his three Olympic gold medals but there’s one thing noticeably missing from his Hall of Fame resume, an NBA championship.  It’s obvious the Knicks aren’t heading for one in the near future but Anthony is not only optimistic, he’s at peace.

Though they seemed shaky at the onset, Team USA with Carmelo Anthony at the head came through with a victory over Venezuela.
