Lil Wayne & Birdman Peaced It Up But The Lawsuit Is Still On!

Lil Wayne and Birdman may have squashed their beef after their warm and fuzzy reunion on stage at LIV in Miami over the weekend, but that doesn’t mean that Wayne plans to drop the lawsuit.

(Photos) Lil Wayne and Birdman Reunite At Drake Concert On NYE

Looks like Lil Wayne and Birdman started the year off right! As you know, the pair have been feuding for over a year now, after Wayne revealed in the fall of 2014 that there were issues with money and it was delaying the release of his next album, Tha Carter V. Over 14 months, two sub-par mixtapes, a free album via TIDAL (that Birdman sued Hov over), a potential plot to have Wayne killed and tons of Cash Money shots in Wayne’s music later and we still don’t have C5…but it looks like 2016 just may bring us the long-awaited project! Taking to Instagram last night, Mack Maine shared photos from Drake’s NYE concert (who also was rumored to have friction with the YMCMB camp,) showing Birdman and Wayne finally back together! 2 Chainz was in the mix as well. “Happy New Year ya heard me!!!” Mack wrote. “Yea that’s Stunna yea that’s Tune yea that’s 2Chainz yea that Hood yea that’s [email protected] yea that’s Mack yea 2 da yea love 2 da love!!!! #FamilyLiveAtDrakePartyHePerformingRightNow” So glad these two finally put their differences to the side!

Audio: Birdman Was Going Hard To Sign Slim Jesus, But Slim Didn’t Really Care

Despite nearly every artist on Cash Money jumping ship, and despite the issues with Lil Wayne, Birdman is still hoping to recruit more artists to his label. This includes the recent (and controversial) viral sensation, Slim Jesus. Rapper King Yella facilitated a call recently, getting Birdman and Slim on the phone so Bird could make his pitch. In the 4-minute clip (recorded by Yella,) Birdman is going hard to recruit the young Ohio rapper, including Wayne in his incentives package…to which Slim quickly questioned. “Wayne ain’t going nowhere man,” Birdman responded. “I don’t know what you be hearing.” Uh, I don’t know…those lawsuits, the tweets…? Slim didn’t appear to be too interested, though, letting Birdman know he’s pretty booked up. He’s not here for the okie-doke! Check out the video below.

Jas Prince Calls Off The Lawsuit Against Birdman … But Wait, There’s More

Jas Prince is on the ‘by any means necessary’ road to what’s owed. During the excessively long journey of getting the 22% of Drake royalties he says is owed to him by Cash Money, Prince has decided to take an alternative route in the battle of he-say/she-say. He’s decided to drop the $11 million lawsuit in Florida. …but wait, that’s not the end of it. Find out more after the jump.

Birdman Wishes His “Son” Lil Wayne A Happy Birthday… Is The Beef Sqashed?

For years, rapper Lil Wayne and YMCMB founder Birdman have been inseperable on both a music level and a personal level. However due to recent drama, the two had a falling out and things haven’t been the same between Weezy and Baby. Despite all of their personal beef (that we’re not 100% sure if it has been squashed yet or not), Birdman didn’t hesitate to wish his “son” Wayne a happy 33rd birthday this past Sunday, September 27th.
