Earlier this month, Rihanna held her first annual Diamond Charity Ball in support of her Clara Lionel Foundation, raising awareness and finances to improve the quality of life for communities around the world in the areas of health, education, arts and culture. While tons of her famous friends like Kim Kardashian and Big Sean were there, as well as her entire family, one person didn’t make the cut – her dad! Rih’s father, Ronald Fenty, has long struggled with drug and alcohol issues, and after coming dangerously close to a jail stint last year, he opted for an expensive rehab stint instead – which his famous daughter footed the bill for. He was doing well since his stay, but unfortunately, fell off the wagon while at his daughter’s big event, and was removed before he even got the chance to see her. Following the mishap, he granted a very telling interview to the Daily News, spilling the beans on why he and Rihanna aren’t always on great terms, what’s up with her and Breezy, the recent pregnancy rumors surrounding her and more.
