Mariah Carey is taking on the role of a slave named Hattie Pearl in Lee Daniels’ upcoming film, “The Butler.” The movie also stars Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, Cuba Gooding Jr, Lenny Kravitz, Robin Williams and Jane Fonda. So, let me fill you in. The movie “Spring Breakers” was written and directed by Harmony Korine and stars Selena Gomez, Gucci Mane, and James Franco. The plot is basically about a group of girls who need money for Spring Break (duh) and they decide to do some robbing in order to get the money. They go to jail, but gets bailed out by a bad guy (James) who was mentored by a “super bad guy” (Gucci). And the story continues, but rapper Riff Raff is saying that the movie roll was written for him. The character that Franco is playing is him. Franco responded by saying to GQ, “None of that’s true.” Gucci Mane, says to XXL “That’s totally false. I think Riff Raff’s just trying to gain some attention. And I think maybe [Franco] may favor a little bit his appearance, but it don’t have anything to do with the artist named Riff Raff. I know that for a fact.” Riff Raff responds to them both via text messages and photos for comparison. The text message does make some sense. Check out this always comedic character called Riff Raff. I find this hilarious! Rumor mill is that Martin Lawrence is suing Trinidad James for stealing one of his most famous characters. “I say Jerome in the house, watch ya mouth!” Recently, there has been an “All Gold Everything” remix video going around and honestly I thought from the jump that Jerome and Trinidad James looked alike.
