@klassic_p Former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel has been elected mayor of Chicago in the most competitive city hall election in more than two decades. Mr Emanuel, who is also a former congressman, trumped five rivals with 55% of the vote and avoided a run-off, with 86% of the precincts reporting.
MLB: Wrigley Field press box damaged during winter storm

The city’s Department of Buildings the roofs blew off at least two buildings – including a portion of Wrigley Field – a partially collapsed building and a sign blowing from a building, according to a statement from the city’s Office of Emergency Management and Communications.
