After fainting and falling off stage during his performance at Irving Plaza just a few weeks ago, entertainer August Alsina has finally been released from the hospital. He was reportedly in a 3-day coma after suffering multiple seizures as a result from a lack of sleep and extreme dehydration. The “I Luv This Sh*t” artist tweeted out, “Healthy enough to b Discharged from the hospital today… Scariest time of my life.. but im a soulja & so is God.Thankyou for your prayers.” During his hospital stay, he received a special visit from Nicki Minaj and numerous prayers from other huge names in the industry such as Tyrese, Kevin Hart and more. We’re happy August is feeling better!

After three days of being in a coma, August Alsina is awake and already on his way to recovery. R&B fans were in awe after finding out that the “No Love” crooner had suffered from a seizure and fallen off the stage during a performance at NYC’s Irving Plaza. Alsina is now sharing with fans a message that you should always love the ones that love you and love life! He takes to Instagram to show fans how the recovery process is coming along. On Sunday(7/27/14) at around 8:16p in the evening the whole thing was caught on CCTV, in front of a local bodega in East New York on the corner of Stanley Ave. at Van Siclen Ave, one guy(the ‘suspect’) walks up on the other guy then suddenly pulls what looks like to be a small caliber gun(maybe a 380) runs toward him and fires in his face.

Tearjerker of the Day: Zumyah Thrope, 11-years-old was involved in a car accident – due to a drunk driver – that killed her mother, an unborn sibling, two of her younger sisters and left her with severe brain injuries. The two survivors in the incident – Zumyah & another sister – were in critical condition to the point where doctors were not sure that Zumyah would survive her coma status. The stars were aligned in a different way. Nurses said to have played Bruno Mars every night for the young lady while she was in a coma. Zumyah heard every word. When she woke up from the coma and learned to walk and talk all over again, the first words to escape her mouth were, “just the way you are” from the popular Bruno Mars track. Bruno got wind of the miracle child and while doing a show in Ohio, he reached out to the survivor. Zumyah got a chance to sit and talk to Bruno and he also invited her to the concert where he sang those beautiful words, “girl you’re amazing, just the way you are.” TEAR!
