Cover up tattoos aren’t the easiest, and you have to make sure you go to a good artist or you’re going to regret it. Looks like The Game found a good one in Peter Koskela, as he covered up a rather crappy tat on his stomach with some new ink, an homage to his hometown. Last week an unreleased video leaked of Tyga on a MTV show called Bustas. Well, the show never aired, but the footage was still obtained by TMZ. Now, Tyga is backing out from what he had previously claimed about living an extra comfy lifestyle. Tyga had claimed he was living in the valley with money and a Range Rover. Which of course, nothing is wrong with that – but when you claim you’re from Compton ..but a video of you is exposed that you claim you’re from the valley, what do we believe? (Video) Kendrick Lamar Talks The Real Meaning Of His Album Title
Kendrick Lamar stops by BET’s “Don’t Sleep,” and he talks about his album going gold. “At least 80% of my sales are due to word-of-mouth.” He then talks about the perception people get of him, when they hear that he’s from COMPTON. He’s not the gang member, thug, hoodlum everyone assumes. “I had the best of both worlds. I’ve seen the streets, but I also still had the aspect of being a dreamer.” Kendrick had both parents in his home and his father was there for him to stop him and teach him to stay away from the negative. Tyga Responds To Leaked Video Where He’d Said He Had It Easy Growing Up In The Suburbs
Earlier this week, a video surfaced of an unaired show that was supposed to be on MTV called Bustas. The show, hosted by West coast legend Kurupt, focused on rappers that were trying to get a deal and put them through various challenges. Apparently it never made it to the airwaves, but somehow TMZ got their hands on a rather damaging clip featuring one of the hottest rappers in the game right now, Tyga. Filmed before he’d go on to achieve commercial success with 2008’s “Lime In The Coconut,” the California rapper bragged about his easy upbringing in the Valley and the Range Rovers his parents drove. That’d be cool and all, as street cred is no longer a major thing in the rap game (Kanye for example), but the issue lies in how contradictory this is to Tyga’s claims of growing up in the hood: the notorious city of Compton. So which is it, T-Raw? Are you from the Valley or are you from Compton? He took to his Instagram late last night to make a statement about it. See what he said in the gallery. Marisa Mendez
