NBA (Report): Kevin Love Gives Timberwolves Deadline For Contract Offer

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl All-Star power forward Kevin Love has not been offered a contract extension by the Minnesota Timberwolves, and if one isn’t submitted by Jan. 15, ten days before the deadline for fourth-year players to sign new deals with their current clubs, then he’ll refuse to re-sign with the team this summer, The New York Post’s Peter Vecsey reports.


NBA: Grant Hill Almost Became a Knick But Said They Low Balled Him on the Contract Offer

MLB: Albert Pujols Receives Offer From the Miami Marlins

A surprising visit by Albert Pujols sent a message: The Miami Marlins will be a much different franchise than the Florida Marlins.  Pujols picked an unlikely locale to begin his free-agent tour Friday when he was courted in Miami by the Marlins, only hours before they officially changed their name during a ceremony at their new ballpark.
