T.I. Apologizes For Saying He Wouldn’t Want A Woman To Be President Of The U.S.

Earlier today, T.I.’s interview with DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45 was posted on the web. As politics became a topic of convo between the Atlanta rapper and the DJ, Tip shared his thoughts on a woman (like Hillary Clinton) running for President:

“Not to be sexist, but I can’t vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman. Just because every other position that exists, I think a woman could do well. Every other position. But the president, I just know that women make rash decisions emotionally and later they make very permanent cemented decisions and then later, it’s kinda like, it didn’t happen or they didn’t mean for it to happen. I sure would hate to just set off a nuke.”

Naturally, this was not taken kindly by the social media world, and almost immediately, Tip has issued an apology for his apathetic statements.

Rich Homie Quan Under Fire AGAIN After ANOTHER Song With Rape Lyrics Leaks

Okay, I went up to bat for this guy after the first rapeish kind of song leaked, but I can’t defend him after the same thing happened for a second time. C’mon, Rich Homie Quan! Last month, an old song of Quan’s made its way to the web, causing controversy because of the following lyrics:

“Don’t want your ho, just want that cookie from her/ She tried to resist so I took it from her/ How you gonna tell me no/ You must not know who I am/”

Quan later issued an apology, explaining that the song was unfinished and never intended to be released and that he would never condone rape, adding that his lawyer was working on its removal from the web. Unfortunately, less than a month later, he’s in the same exact situation.

Rich Homie Quan Under Fire For Leaked Track Alluding To Rape

Before I get into this article, I just want to say that I was listening to Eminem’s first album the other day, and thinking how much more outrage it would spark now then back in the late 90’s. Now I know he had his fair share of protestors and media outrage, but my goodness, people can’t even sneeze anymore without offending someone. Now on to this new controversy… On a recently-leaked track (meaning he didn’t intend for it to be released) named “I Made It,” Rich Homie Quan is accused of glorifying rape. Here are the lyrics in question:

“Don’t want your ho, just want that cookie from her/ She tried to resist so I took it from her/ How you gonna tell me no/ You must not know who I am/”

Zendaya Didn’t Get Approval From Her PR Team Before Responding To Giuliana Rancic

I came across an article today that revealed that Zendaya didn’t consult her PR team before responding to Giuliana Rancic’s racist statements on Fashion Police last week, and I’m actually impressed. As perfectly classy and mature as her response was, I was almost sure her publicist had a hand in tweaking it at least a little, but nope! “Zendaya did not consult her PR team before going ahead and issuing the statement,” an insider said “It is probably better that Zendaya didn’t because she would have been advised against it!”

Afroman Announces Retirement Following Controversy

After catching quite the backlash for punching a female fan in the face while on stage earlier this month, Afroman has decided to call it quits on music. (For his part, he says he didn’t know whether the fan was male or female, he was simply reacting to someone being on stage where they shouldn’t be.) Taking to his Facebook page, the “Because I Got High” singer announced his retirement from performing earlier today, though he says he will still make music and videos. He also apologizes to not only the woman that he’d hit (which he says was a slap, not a “devastating punch” as reported by TMZ,) as well as a man he apparently hit last year. Afroman plays no games, b!

(Photos) Yikes! Play-Doh In Hot Water Over INTERESTING-Shaped Toy!

Much like fashion designer Tom Ford and his controversial phallic-shaped necklace, Play-Doh is under fire for their latest toy. However, unlike the former, theirs wasn’t meant to be looked at as naughty! Inside the new “Sweet Shoppe Mountain” play-set is what the family-friendly company describes as a “mold,” but unfortunately whoever designed it wasn’t thinking too clearly, as it’s CLEARLY a huge mistake for kids! Angry parents took to the official Play-Doh Facebook page to voice their concerns by the dozen, especially after Christmas morning, prompting an official apology, as well as a recall.
