Newark Mayor Cory Booker Officially Announces Senate Candidacy

It’s official, Newark Mayor Cory Booker has announced his candidacy for the Senate. Mayor Booker made the announcement today after months of speculation as to if he would run for Governor or Senate. The 44-year-old mayor will be running for the seat that was held by the late Sen. Frank Lautenberg, who passed away on Monday.
