Late last year, Big Sean confirmed that Cruel Winter would be the follow up to Cruel Summer but he wasn’t sure if it would be here before or after Christmas. Since then, there’s been rumors about whether this album would even be dropping still. Adding to that, it doesn’t help that Common, who is a G.O.O.D. Big Sean Confirms G.O.O.D. Music’s “Cruel Winter” Is Coming Soon!
There’s been rumors and even some confirmation from outside sources and affiliates, but G.O.O.D. Music star Big Sean has officially confirmed the release of the group’s next compilation album, Cruel Winter. The album will be a follow up to their debut Cruel Summer, released in September of this year. While talking to DJ Semtex overseas in London, Sean revealed that the project is on its way, though he can’t confirm whether it’ll be here before Christmas. “I know I did something for Cruel Winter and I was like ‘god damnit I might need to cut this for my album,’ because it was really good,” he told Semtex. Sean’s sophomore effort Hall Of Fame is scheduled for a 2013 release. I wonder if CW will hit before or after! Marisa Mendez

Kanye west and the G.O.O.D Music seem to have plans to take over and they’re going to do it season by season. The director of the latest project from the G.O.O.D camp has released a short visual of “Cruel Winter.” It is said that this will be a collaborative effort between Kanye and Q-Tip. Since G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer dropped, there have been rumors that there will be a follow-up album called, Cruel Winter. Pusha T is now clearing up the rumors-well kinda, Pusha says that the album is shaping up to be most Kanye and Q-Tip album thus far. We’ll have to wait and see what happens and see if more of G.O.O.D. Music’s roster will appear on the album, but I really won’t complain if it was a Kanye/Q-Tip project! Watch what Push said below.
