NBA: CryingJordan.Com Redirects To The Cavs Website But The Reason Is Not As Sinister As You Think

The buzz in the digital sports world the past 24 hours or so has been the fact that someone noticed the website “CryingJordan.Com” is currently redirecting to the Cleveland Cavaliers website. At first glance it may look like the owner of the domain was throwing shots at the Cavs, as they are likely to wind up with all types of memes showing their players with the crying Jordan face if they lose game 6 or a possible game 7. After a little bit of reading however, the person who owns the website seems to mix things up with where the site goes and apparently he forgot what redirect he had set it up for.

(Photos) NBA: Memes & Crying Jordans For Thunder as Warriors Come Back From 3-1 to Win WCF

The Western Conference Finals was everything we could hope for and more.  On Monday night, the highly anticipated Game 7 was played and no matter which team lost, Twitter had the chopper ready and loaded with crying Jordan and other memes.  Unfortunately for the Oklahoma City Thunder, they fell victim.  The Golden State Warriors beat the Thunder 96-88, winning three straight games and successfully coming back from the dreaded 3-1 standing.  As the Thunder lost, the memes started to fly and as usual, they were hilarious.

Charles Oakley has never been one to hold his tongue and he’s at it again.  He was stopped by a TMZ cameraman who mentioned the playoffs are amazing.  Well Oakley doesn’t think so.  He also discussed the Michael Jordan crying meme and says Jordan hates it.

(Photos) NBA: Jokes Fly After Ja Rule Says Michael Jordan Gets Paid $1 For Each Crying Jordan Meme

I cringe every time one of those satire website articles goes viral.  Unfortunately for Ja Rule, he fell victim to one of them.  A website called TMZ comedy claimed that Michael Jordan gets paid $1 every time someone posted a crying Jordan meme.  Well that would make Jordan even more ridiculously rich than he already is but… the story is fake.  Jordan can only get paid if someone uses the meme for profit.  Ja Rule’s tweet went as viral as the meme and as you would expect, the jokes flew and of course Rule ended up with the crying Jordan on his pictures as well.
