When the Dallas Mavericks beat the Miami Heat in 2011 to win the NBA finals, it was no question who the best player in the finals was. It wasn’t Lebron, or Dwayne Wade, it was Dirk Nowitzki, hands down. He carried the Mavs to the title that year and it seems the NBA has not forgotten. Now this is pretty funny.  Everyone remembers how fed up Lamar Odom was when he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks; he gained weight, didn’t play and sulked on the sidelines.  Finally the Mavericks let him go and he joined the LA Clippers, that doesn’t mean the Dallas fans forgot about Odom’s behavior.  In fact the Mavericks used Odom to help them out.  Read more after the jump.
