(Photos) Sports: Welp, DeAndre Jordan Cheers on the Cowboys & Dallas Fans Shut Him Down!

DeAndre Jordan is originally from Houston, Texas and had the chance this summer to return to his home state but with the Dallas Mavericks.  As you already know, Jordan reneged on his agreement with the Mavericks and instead returned to the Los Angeles Clippers in a crazy fashion that had everyone buzzing.  Though Jordan returned to LA, he didn’t turn in his love for the Dallas Cowboys and cheered them on last night on Twitter as they captured a comeback win against the New York Giants.  Unfortunately for Jordan, Dallas residents were not having it, and went in on him heavy!

Mark Cuban released several statements on the matter of DeAndre Jordan reneging on their agreement and going back to the Los Angeles Clippers and appeared to be getting over the situation but he’s obviously still bitter.  Cuban spoke with Clippers owner Steve Ballmer and said they hashed things out but he threw a clear shot at Jordan and the Clippers with his latest comment.

The biggest story of the offseason was the hilarious but troubling saga surrounding DeAndre Jordan, the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers.  Jordan verbally committed to the Mavericks but had second thoughts as the moratorium wore on and ultimately re-signed with the Clippers in dramatic fashion after the players and coach Doc Rivers staged a sit in at his house. Jordan took a lot of heat for not reaching out directly to Mavs owner Mark Cuban. Jordan apologized on Twitter, Cuban would have none of it. Now Jordan is telling his side of the story directly.

Yesterday will go down as one of the most hilarious nights in the NBA offseason.  DeAndre Jordan reached out to Doc Rivers and informed him that he made a mistake when he agreed to a four-year, $80 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks. Rivers along with other members of the Clippers, traveled to Jordan’s house for another meeting and stayed there with him throughout the night until the NBA moratorium was lifted and Jordan was able to re-sign with the team at 12:00 am which he did.  While some people thought they were holed up in Jordan’s house trying to convince him to stay with the Clippers, it turns out the meeting was relatively short and they were just hanging out playing cards the rest of the time.  They left Mavericks owner Mark Cuban out in the cold, refusing to let him enter the house and Jordan would not answer his phone calls or texts.
