(Photo) NBA: Birdman/Cash Money Makes Damian Lillard Take Lil Wayne Off Song on His Album

Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard aka Dame D.O.L.L.A released his first album The Letter O on Apple Music and Spotify.  Among the featured artists on the album was Lil Wayne on the song “Loyal to the Soil.”  As you may already know, there’s been issues between Lil Wayne and his label Cash Money, which is run by Birdman.  Weezy said Birdman owes him millions and he no longer wants to work with the man whom he previously had a father/son relationship with.  Despite Lillard and Wayne coming to an agreement on the song, Lillard announced that he was forced to remove Weezy off the album due to orders from Wayne’s parent label.


NBA: Steve Kerr Makes His Pick For MVP This Year & It’s Not Stephen Curry, It’s a Sleeper Pick

The 2016-17 NBA season kicks off tonight and many people are putting their predictions out there.  We already posted the predictions from the NBA GMs.  Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr was asked about this year’s MVP.  Kerr did not select his player and reigning back-to-back MVP Stephen Curry, he did not pick Russell Westbrook, who many fans predicted will win, and he didn’t pick LeBron James whos’s basically a candidate every year and was chosen by the GMs.  Kerr had a sleeper pick.

The Oakland native spit over one of the most famous beats to come out of Oakland in “I got 5 on it” by the Luniz, although the version playing in the background actually sounds like its the one Meek Mill used for his song “Heaven or Hell” featuring Jadakiss. Either way, its fire!
