Reid was in office made some history up in Def Jam/ If Jizzle ain’t droppin’, n*gga, what the f*ck is Def Jam?” he rapped on the track. He then hinted at switching labels for his solo deal to Atlantic, where he currently has a label deal for his CTE imprint. “I know you heard how your boy bossed up at Atlantic/ Boss sh*t, might just drop my next album on Atlantic,” he rapped in the second verse. This didn’t come as a total shock, as he’d previously thrown shots at the label via a Twitter rant last fall. Stopping by Power 99 in Philly over the weekend when the ‘Under the Influence’ tour rolled through Camden, Jeezy spoke to Mina Say What about the lyrics and his current situation with the label.
