NFL: Patriots Fans Sue to Get Back #DeflateGate Draft Picks, Cite ‘Emotional Distress’

The New England Patriots finally put an end to the Deflategate saga when they did not try to persuade the NFL to rescind the penalties that resulted from the case which included the loss of their 2016 first-round and 2017 fourth-round draft picks.  Well some fans decided they would take action into their own hands, and are suing to get the picks back.

The New England Patriots is easily the most controversial team in the NFL. Between Spygate and most recently, Deflategate, the Patriots have proven to stop at no lengths to ensure the team’s successes. According to former Jets quarterback, Boomer Esiason,felt that his former team may have tried to take extra precautions and asked for there to be a sweep of the visitors locker room, a sweep for any bug devices.


NFL: Appeals Court Won’t Hear Tom Brady DeflateGate Case Until February

If you were hoping DeflateGate was finally over well unfortunately you’re wrong.  In fact it’s going to follow us into next year.  Tom Brady won his appeal which nullified his four-game suspension which allowed him to play week 1 this season.  Rather than let it end there, the NFL decided to appeal as well.  They hoped to expedite the process but that’s not going to happen.


NFL: Richard Sherman Backs Tom Brady & Patriots on Cheating Allegations

Richard Sherman’s history with Tom Brady isn’t the greatest and the New England Patriots did beat the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl but Sherman has come out in support of Brady after the Patriots QB won his appeal in the DeflateGate case and after rumors resurfaced concerning Spygate.

I don’t know about you but I’m sick and tired of hearing about deflated footballs.  Apparently neither side is willing to throw in the towel.  Today it was announced that Tom Brady won his appeal and the judge nullified the four-game suspension levied against him for his alleged participation in deflating footballs before New England’s 45-7 victory over Indianapolis in last season’s AFC Championship Game.  Well Goodell isn’t ready to concede defeat yet and now HE will appeal.
