I really hope Justin Bieber learns how to pick his friends better, or they get smarter! Out of all the weed toting artists out there, authorities continue to go for JB and his crew. This time around, TMZ reports that Justin and his entourage have been detained at the Brisbane, Australia airport for a search of drugs. One of the fellas – not Justin – was found with a hefty amount of the greenery, arrested and released. Sad part, he has to go all the way back to Australia to face the charges. TSK TSK!
SMH: Cops Called Because Amanda Bynes Was Accused Of WHAT?!
Just when you thought Amanda Bynes was staying out of trouble lately…she’s back! The troubled actress was confronted by police outside of a retirement community late Sunday night, after she got into an argument with a cab driver. Apparently (this is according to the driver), Amanda wanted to go into the community, but management had turned her away because they thought she was drunk. They then accused her of trespassing, and promptly called her a cab. However, when she got into said cab, told the driver, “Get me the f*ck out of here! I don’t have any money.” At which point, he got her the f*ck out of there. The car, that is. She walked back toward the community and police were called, but for now, there is no record of her getting arrested. Oh, Amanda!
(Video) Reporter Detained Live On Air In China!!
Mark Stone a Sky News Reporter was detained while reporting live from Tiananmen Square in China. Though he had been reporting from there for a while it seems, the Chinese seemed to take offense to his comments about a protest in the square dating back to 1989. The comments sparked the Chinese initiative to shut them down but they did so civilly all while Stone continued to stream live back to London. Apparently the Chinese had no idea that he was streaming live and they even let him video tape a Chinese police officer speaking with Stone about why he was stopped. Check out the video bellow.
(Video) SMH! TSA Detains Sobbing, Handicapped Girl For An Hour Refusing To Let Her Mother Comfort Her
This is disgusting! I know the TSA has a job to do and I’m actually very grateful for their service but being inhumane is not necessary and that’s exactly what they were in this incident. 12-year-old Shelbi Walser suffers from brittle bone disorder and was traveling with her mother from Texas to Florida to seek treatment. While in the airport, Shelbi was detained by the TSA for over an hour and they refused to allow her mother to comfort the girl. When TSA checked the girl, they found a form a residue on the child’s hands that they believed was explosive material. It turns out, that the safe material was spread to her hands from pushing her wheelchair and TSA could have deducted that if they simple tested the wheel chair. I think the worst part about this isn’t that they accused the young girl because you never know in today’s world, it’s that they wouldn’t let her mother comfort her. I highly doubt a 12-year-old could be making bomb materials on their own so they should have questioned the mother just as much. See the video of TSA leaving the sobbing girl alone below. Julie A.
Philadelphia Police Speak On Detaining Meek Mill
Meek Mill was detained in his home city of Philadelphia on Wednesday night, forcing him to miss a flight to Atlanta to celebrate the release of his debut album, Dreams & Nightmares. Shortly after being released in the early hours of the morning on Thursday, Meek took to his Twitter to vent his frustrations. Though he blames the cops for simply “harassing” and “violating” him, he doesn’t state the specific reason they took him in…essentially alluding to the fact they were just trying to give him a hard time. Funny thing is, the Philly PD’s response doesn’t seem to make their case for taking him in any better! Check out what they told Rapfix below. (Photos) Meek Mill Detained By Police; Misses ATL Album Release Party
Damn, it’s been a bitter sweet week for Meek Mill. Though the Philly newcomer finally got to see the release of his debut album and the sales projections are looking good at close to 200k, trouble with police and the biggest storm his region has seen in recorded history prevented him from celebrating like he’d like to. Hurricane Sandy prevented him from getting to Club LIV in Miami on Sunday for that release party, cancelled his release concert in NYC on Tuesday because of the conditions New York was left in and likely stopped various other promotional stops he had to make in the area. His release party in ATL was still on track, though, until he ran into some trouble in his own city. Though details are sketchy, apparently cops just wanted to make things difficult for the former trouble-maker, and he was detained for a few hours in the police station, forcing him to miss his flight. He was never charged with anything and later let go, taking to Twitter to vent his frustrations. What a mess! Check out the photo he shared from the precinct along with his tweets.
