Ebony Magazine lost a special member of their team a few days ago. The managing editor for ebony magazine passed away due to a two year battle of colon cancer, she was only 57 years old. Harry Carey Jr., whose career spanned more than 50 years and included such Ford classics as “She Wore a Yellow Ribbon” and “The Searchers”, passed away on Thursday of natural causes at a hospice center in Santa Barbara, Calif. He was 91 years old. Russ B

(Video) So Sad: Hurricane Sandy Hero Drowns In Mexico
A young surfer that was known for rescuing several people stranded by Hurricane Sandy– apparently drowned this week off the coast of Puerto Rico. According to the AP, “A police statement Sunday has identified the tourist as 23-year-old Dylan Smith, whose body was found floating Sunday morning near his surfboard in waters off Maria’s Beach in the western Puerto Rican community of Rincon. Iron Butterfly Bassist Lee Dorman Dead At 70 !!
Dorman was born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1942. He joined the Southern California-based Iron Butterfly for its second and best-known album, ‘In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida’ which was released in 1968. The 17-minute title track helped the album sell more than 30 million copies, and a three-minute version of the song became a Top 40 hit.According to a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Dorman was found dead in a vehicle on Friday morning and may have been on his way to a doctor’s appointment. So Sad: Teen Kills Father With An Axe While He Was Sleeping
This is horrible. 19-Year-Old, Marshall Giles Jr., allegedly killed his father (also named Marshall Giles) with an axe on Wednesday night while he was sleeping. His father was still alive when the police arrived their with major cuts and damage to his head. Giles Jr. didn’t try to escape, he was hiding inside the house. When the police had told Giles Jr. why he was being arrested – he was smiling and laughing. Marshall Lee Giles (father) died the next day on Thanksgiving. Biz Baby
