Cool Like That: Digable Planets Announce Reunion Tour

Following their New Year’s Eve performance this year, the beginning of the reunion of Digable Planets has begun to take effect. This summer, the legendary hip-hop group will embark on a full tour throughout July and August. Most of the announced dates are in the South and Mid-Atlantic regions, with more dates (and surely an NYC show) TBA. Pusha T also joins the group on the last date of the tour. The single “Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)” became a hit in 1993, breaking into the Top 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1994. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA in 1993.
