Spike Lee is known highly for not only his immense talent as a film director but he is known just as well for his willingness to speak his mind on any issue, especially race. Take A Look Into Her Life: New Documentary To Highlight Rihanna & Her Big Break

Rihanna to star in new documentary that will highlight her start from a normal island girl to international superstar. The full-length film will be directed by Peter Berg, via his new production company, Film 45. Berg, who had worked with RiRi in the past, on the film Battleship, said it would be interesting to examine “a young artist at the top of her professional field” and that the project will be “much more a character study than a music film.” Fans got a glimpse into Rihanna’s life with docu-short films 777 and Half of Me, but this highlight will be slightly different. This film will be an “unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life and how she’s ascended to become a global icon,” according to Deadline. I look forward. Check out the jump for more.
