#MusicStillMatters New Music: Joe Budden – Just Because

The rap beef between Drake and Joe Budden is still well alive. Earlier we posted the video of Drake calling out his opponent while on his Summer 16 Tour in Texas. And sure enough, just like last time, Budden responded within several hours with another diss track.

#MusicStillMatters New Music: Joe Budden – Afraid (Drake Diss)

Joe Budden has started a very entertaining battle with Drake when he released “Making A Murderer”. Earlier today French Montana dropped “No Shopping” in which Drake finally came back at Joe Budden, and boy was he playing no games! I’m guessing Budden felt the same way being that just a few hours later the Jersey native responded with “Afraid”, sampling Drake’s “The Resistance”. Who do you think has the lead right now? Who will reign victorious? Let me know in the comments!

Behind The Lyrics: Joe Budden Takes Up For Mike Zombie, Fetty Wap, Migos + More On Drake Diss “Wake”

After releasing “Making A Murderer (Part One)” last week, Joe Budden comes for Drake a second time with “Wake.” This time, Joe makes note of the artists that Drake has seemingly used for his own advantage and done nothing to help them further, naming Migos, Fetty Wap, iLoveMakonnen, The Weeknd and even “Started From The Bottom” producer, Mike Zombie.

Joe Budden Calls Out Meek Mill & Promises A Diss Is On The Way

Joe Budden and Meek Mill’s beef goes back to last summer, when Joe poked fun at Meek’s relationship with Nicki Minaj on his podcast. A few words were exchanged on Twitter (with Meek once even trying to sic Nicki’s Barbz on the New Jersey rapper,) but Joe simply apologized as he never meant any ill will. Times have changed, however. Now that he’s a free agent and is gearing up to change directions in his rapping (adopting the nickname Rage for his joint project with Araab Muzik, Rage & The Machine,) Joey is looking to “encourage rappers to rap again,” and it looks like he’ll be starting with Meek.

(Video) Lil Wayne Says It’s Still “F*ck Cash Money” At Denver Concert

Last night, Lil Wayne performed at the MassRoots 420 Rally in Denver. His set was the usual medley of hits and crowd interaction, but a clip that’s surfaced online has an interesting highlight. “Say, ‘f*ck the bullsh*t!’” Wayne prompted the crowd, to which they echoed the words right back. “And F*CK Cash Money,” he yelled, before instructing his DJ to go into the next song. Looks like that beef is still very much alive, despite Wayne and Birdman having been photographed together earlier this year, and even appearing on a record together. In his recent interview with Ebro In The Morning, Birdman said he’s not holding Wayne back from releasing anything and that Tha Carter 5 dropping is all on Wayne…but this seems to tell a different story. Hmm! Check out the clip below, courtesy of my homie TZ, who was in attendance.

(Videos) Joe Budden Responds To People Who Think Drake Might Diss Him

Last week, Joe Budden dedicated a majority of his popular podcast to discussing Drake’s Views album, expressing his disappointment with what he says is a lack of growth on Drake’s part. Budden has been an avid Drake fan since the Comeback Season days, and Drake too has expressed his love for Budden’s rhymes in the past. The guys have a rapport as well, hanging out here and there when Drake is in NYC – so needless to say, the podcast was not a diss, but rather a constructive critique from a restless fan…despite its seemingly harsh delivery at times because of Budden’s raised voice. (Hey, he’s a passionate guy…) After Budden’s views on Views became a worldwide trending topic last week, the internet went wild once again yesterday, when what seems to be a potential diss track from Drake popped up in the form of a Snapchat snippet from French Montana. Drizzy and French were in the studio on Tuesday night and recorded a song, and thus far, the only part of Drake’s verse that French has previewed is Drake saying, “Pump, pump it up!”
