NFL: Terrell Suggs Says He Will Not Retire After Tearing His Achilles Tendon

Baltimore Ravens linebacker, Terrell Suggs, suffered a torn Achilles’ tendon last week during the first regular season game against the Denver Broncos.  The veteran is expected to be out for the remainder of the season, but says that this season would not be his last.

NFL: Jets Reach Deal With Ed Reed

Who would of thought it would end like this for Ed Reed. After a high profile signing with the Houston Texans during the off season, Reed was released by the team today. He acknowledged a drop in his own play and recently had negative things to say about the team and coaching staff. There is a good chance this is the end of the line for his playing career. He made 9 pro bowls and led the league in interceptions three different times. Hit the jump for the video discussing him being released.

NFL: It’s Official!! Ed Reed Signs New Deal With Houston Texans!!

The long awaited drama involving where Ed Reed would play football next season is now officially over. After spending his entire career with the Baltimore Ravens, Reed signed a 3 year/ $15 million dollar contract with the Houston Texans this morning. The Ravens have been a sinking ship ever since winning the super bowl. Numerous players have either been cut, retired or signed with a different team since the big game. Reed was rumored to be leaving because Baltimore didn’t exactly want to pay him as much as he wanted for a new deal. Read more about it after the jump.
