NBA: Eddy Curry Says He Regrets Skipping College & He Was ‘Babied’ in Chicago

Eddy Curry is getting back on the court soon as part of the new Champions Basketball League, but during a speaking engagement at Metea Valley High School in Aurora, IL, the big man reminisced on his NBA playing days.  Curry was speaking to a group of 30 high school athletes, and talked about what life was like as a professional athlete.  He noted how much he wished he had gone to college, how he was babied in Chicago, and that affected him when he got to New York which was way different.

Eddy Curry hasn’t played in the NBA since 2012 but he hasn’t completely left basketball alone.  He’s currently in the Philippines with Allen Iverson and the Ball Up Streetballers.  Curry has dealt with weight issues while playing for the NBA, but his weight and height in the Philippines make him look huge!
