NFL: Rashad Jennings Apologizes to Eli Manning For Throwing Him Under the Bus

The New York Giants lost a heartbreaker to their NFC East rival, the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.  Not only did quarterback Eli Manning make the ill fated decision to pass the ball on 3rd & goal, he also told running back Rashad Jennings not to score a touchdown.  The last tidbit was revealed by Jennings himself and now he’s apologizing for telling the world and throwing Manning under the bus.

Now admittedly injuries and disappointing production from players has caused some of the woes so you can’t blame it all on coaching, but at the end of the day the blame for losses and praise for wins comes with the job. It is always great to have a supportive owner, but John Mara said he almost fired everyone after the Giants lost to the Jaguars earlier this season.
