Google Predicts There Will Be How Many Android Smartphones?!?!?

Google Chairman, Eric Schmidt predicts there will be over billion Android smartphones in the 6 to 9 months. He also said that in the next year or two there will be over 2 billion smartphones that use the Android software. As of now, Android is the world’s No.1 mobile phone software, with over 750 million mobile devices in use around the world.

It looks like Google’s chairman Eric Schmidt might have sent some shots at former Google employees. Most notably newly appointed Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer. Saying the reason why some of the former employees left was because there were no career paths at Google. Stating they went on to become CEO’s at other companies, because the chances of moving up the corporate ladder at Google was’nt going to happen.
