Hunt For Escaped NY Killers Cost State More Than $1 Million A Day

It costs more than $1 million dollars a day for the New York State police and the State Department of Corrections to end the 23-day manhunt for Richard Matt and David Sweat. Plus, addition monies were lost.

After escaping from an upstate New York prison, Richard Matt and David Sweat have been on the run for over two weeks now. Recently, it is said that one of the prisoners has been shot by police!

It was obvious from the beginning that David Sweat and Richard Matt, the two escapees from Clinton Correctional Facility in New York, received some sort of outside help and it looks like that was confirmed today. Investigators are reporting that a woman named Joyce Mitchell provided the men with blades to aid them in their escape!


Escaped Convict Gets Caught Even After Extensive Plastic Surgery

Giovanni Rebolledo was sentenced to 60 years in Colombian prison in 2012, so when he escaped prison he went through extreme measures to make sure he wasn’t caught. After going through extensive surgery to change his appearance from male to female, changing his name to Rosalinda and committing to a life of prostitution, he was off to a good start. Yet after all that surgery, police still recognized him during a routine stop and search. Colombian local new report that Rebolledo, originally of Bogota was jailed last year for his involvement in the Los Topos criminal gang. They used good looking women to seduce business men and tourist into apartments where gang members would assault the men until they gave up credit cards, pin numbers, account numbers, etc. It looks like “Rosalinda” is going to be tossed around every prison he/she goes to.

UPDATE: Vybz Kartel Did NOT Escape Prison

Early this morning, the internet ran rampant with a rumor that dancehall star Vybz Kartel had escaped a Jamaican prison, where he’s currently being held for two murder charges, conspiracy to murder, illegal possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana. The Jamaica Observer has spoken with prison guards at the facility Vybz is being held at and they all have debunked the crazy rumor. Where do people come up with these things? Marisa Mendez
