(Video) NBA: Fair Or Foul? Jameer Nelson Fined $15K For This Dance??

Pro sports have become way too serious with how they treat the players. At the end of the day sports are a game and you are supposed to be able to enjoy yourself while playing a game at some point. After Jameer Nelson hit a game tying shot against the Bulls, he went down court doing what can only be described as the “big balls dance” lol. The NBA didn’t like that and hit him in the wallet for $15K. Hit the jump for the video and decide yourself if the fine was deserved.

It has been a tough season for the Grizzlies so far. At 12-16, they are doing much worse than expected and with the Western conference being packed with good teams, the Grizzlies need every win they can get. After blowing a big lead in the 4th quarter against the Rockets last night, big man Zach Randolph went in on how the refs called the game and blamed them 100% for the loss. The Rockets shot 20 more free throws than Memphis which may mean he has a point. Hit the jump for the audio. I am sure he can expect a fine soon.

(Video) NBA: Nets Coach Jason Kidd Fined $50,000 For This “Accident”!

Jason Kidd was always a very smart player. When he got older and wasn’t as fast as the younger guys he used his brain even more to gain advantages. Now as coach of the Nets, he tried to use quick thinking again, but the NBA wasn’t buying it. Kidd was fined $50,000 yesterday for what they deemed purposely spilling his drink on the court to stop the clock to setup a final play against the Lakers. The Nets had no more timeouts left and coach needed a way to draw up a final play for the win. The video appears to show coach telling Tyshawn Taylor to “hit me” while Taylor walked near the Nets bench. Kidd denied it saying, “Cup slipped out of my hand while I was getting Ty,” Kidd said of “Cupgate.” “Sweaty palms. I was never good with the ball. In the heat of the battle, you’re trying to get guys in and out of the game, and the cup fell out of my hand.” When he says he was never good with the ball you know he is mocking the situation because he was one of the best point guard’s of all time. It was a nice try Kidd, but $50,000 is still $50,000. Hit the jump for the video for those who have not seen it.

NBA: Knicks Coach Mike Woodson Fined $25,000 For Speaking About Melo & Refs!

Mike Woodson has his player’s backs, but it will cost him in his paycheck. Woodson was fined $25,000 for speaking about the treatment his star player Carmelo Anthony is getting from the refs. In an interview Thursday on ESPN New York 98.7 FM’s “The Stephen A. Smith and Ryan Ruocco Show,” Woodson said that Carmelo Anthony isn’t getting “superstar” calls. “Absolutely. And I’m not going to shy away from that, either. I think Melo gets hit more than ever,” Woodson said in his weekly radio spot.”I’ve been at this thing 30 years, and sometimes I’m starting to wonder what’s a foul and what’s not a foul.” The criticism came after the Knicks lost to the Pacers, in which a game Carmelo was clearly hit multiple times during the game and was getting no calls. He does have a point though. It is ashame the NBA can fine a coach for speaking his opinion. He never trashed the refs, just said he did not agree with the way they were calling the game. You have to love a coach that will stand up for his guys.
