WHOA! Adele’s New Album Is Projected To Sell How Much Its First Week?!

Adele is very, very lit right now. The superstar singer hasn’t released an album since 2011’s 21, so the hype around the forthcoming 25 is insane. So much so, early sales projections based on pre-orders have the first week numbers looking to be in the realm of 1.3 to 1.8 million! Yes, million! This would make for the biggest debut from a female artist of all time, beating out the record previously held by Britney Spears when Oops!…. I Did It Again sold 1.5 million in its first week in 2000. N*Sync holds the record for the biggest first week sales of all time with 2.4 million copies sold, though – do you think Adele could beat that? I wouldn’t be surprised! Pre-order 25 on iTunes here. The album hits stores November 20.

First Week Sales Projections For Drake and Future Are Looking Crazy!

Not that this comes as any surprise – but Drake and Future are about to make a killing with their joint effort, What A Time To Be Alive. After less than 24 hours on iTunes, early sales forecasts already have the mixtape projected to do around 500k by Friday! In comparison, Drake’s last project, If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late had an opening week of 495k, while Future’s DS2 did 147k.

First Week Sales Projections For Jay Rock’s ‘90059’

Jay Rock finally released his long-awaited album, 90059, this past Friday. The project had gone up for pre-order last month, and after TDE issued a statement that they wouldn’t drop it until it garnered 50k pre-orders, we got a release date of September 11. Did this mean they’d achieved the goal? Apparently it didn’t, as early forecasts are now in, and 90059 is on pace to do around 15k–18k SPS in its first week. Kind of a surprise knowing TDE‘s hardcore following, no? Let us know your thoughts on the numbers in the comments!

The Numbers Are In: Find Out How Much Kendrick Lamar Is Estimated To Sell In His First Week!

Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly landed on iTunes a week earlier than scheduled, reportedly as a mistake…though some believe it was all planned from the start. Either way, it doesn’t seem to have had too much of a negative effect on the TDE rapper, as his first week sales projections are looking pretty damn good! (And as previously reported, he broke a global streaming record as well.)

Find Out How Much Joey Bada$$ & Lupe Fiasco Are Expected To Sell In Their First Week

Both Joey Bada$$ and Lupe Fiasco dropped new albums this past Tuesday, B4.Da.$$ and Tetsuo & Youth, respectively. The first week sales projections are available, and it’s looking like it’s going to be a good week for the both of them! Hits Daily Double reports that Joey’s debut is on pace to sell between 50,000 and 55,000 physical units, and with streaming and single song sales in the equation, it should bring that number up to around 60k! This will most certainly secure the Pro Era rapper a spot in the top 10 on the Billboard 200, likely even the top 5! As for Lupe Fiasco, his fifth album is projected to sell between 30,000 and 35,000 physical units, 40k with SPS.
