The controversial Confederate Flag has been causing an uproar through out the country ever since domestic terrorist and Confederate Flag supporter, Dylann Roof, murdered the #TheCharleston9 at Emmanuel AME Baptist Church last month. Justin Bieber could face prison time if officials in Argentina claims JB was treating the country’s flag like it was trash at a recent concert. Bieber’s camp claims, “it was never his intention to desecrate the national symbol. Bieber would never, ever desecrate a flag — and the whole thing is a giant misunderstanding. The female fans were throwing bras and t-shirts on stage — which is pretty typical — and Justin was merely trying to brush them off the stage so he wouldn’t step on them.” As for the flag… it wasn’t even a flag. It was a T-shirt with the Argentine flag printed on it and Justin didn’t realize the item sported the national symbol. TMZ spoke to the diplomatic officials at embassies in Buenos Aires and in Washington … they tell them people are PISSED by what they perceive as Justin’s disrespect for Argentina. One lawyer in Cordoba has reportedly filed legal papers denouncing Bieber for “insulting the flag.” Him being charged for this isn’t a definite thing BUT desecrating the flag IS a crime in Argentina punishable by 1 to 4 years in prison.
Oh Sh*t! The Controversy Continues! Lil Wayne Claims Flag Trample Was An ‘Accident’
During the controversial video shoot for “God Bless Amerika” in New Orleans, Wayne flat out steps on the American flag. Now? He tweeted and claims, “I didn’t step on the flag on purpose! It’s a scene in a video where the flag drops behind me and after it drop it’s just there as I perform.” He basically says it was an accident, but was it?
