NBA: Oklahoma City Shuts Down Kevin Durant For The Season, Removed From All Basketball Activities

I knew this was coming, it was obvious the way people affiliated with the front office in OKC would always manage to side step the question about when would Kevin Durant return from his foot problem. Today they finally decided to be honest and admit they are shutting him down for the season. According to them, KD has not responded the way they anticipated to treatment on his foot and the soreness is proving to be too much of an issue.


NBA: Pau Gasol Has Early Return Date & A Starting Spot on Lakers Roster

Kobe Bryant did an incredible job of getting the Lakers to the 8th seed in the Western Conference when no one thought he could do it, but then he suffered a severely sprained ankle during the Lakers game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.  The Lakers currently have a one game lead over the Utah Jazz for the eighth spot with the Dallas Mavericks slowly creeping up so they’ll need some offensive help if the Mamba doesn’t return to 100% soon.  Read more after the jump.
