After a week full of drama, Gary, IN rapper Freddie Gibbs brings in his Birthday on a positive note with new music off upcoming ESGN project which hits the web July 9th. Produced By Big Jerm & Sayeez for ID Labs.
Ouch! Jeezy hasn’t said much yet, but Freddie had this to say: “It’s tough meetin’ your heroes sometimes and kickin’ with them because when they take that cape off, boy o’ boy under that cape, sometimes it’s some scary lil’ boy hidin’ under that cape,” he continued. Gibbs first voiced his displeasure with Jeezy in an interview with XXLMag.com, and since then, he said he has received death threats on Twitter, but he isn’t taking it too seriously. “Yeah, death threats,” he confirmed. “Hey man, I know it hurts you to hear your favorite rapper’s a fraud. Freddie Gibbs signed to Young Jeezy’s CTE imprint in early 2011, but nothing ever really came out of it. In fact, the pair parted ways at the end of 2012 when Jeezy was “wiping the slate clean” at the label, but for the moment, it seemed like it was an amicable split. Apparently not!
