MLB: Do Yankees Fans Need To Worry About Magic Johnson??

If you are a Yankees fan right now you do not have much to be happy about. The team missed the playoffs for only the second time in the past 19 seasons. The best closer in the history of the game, Mariano Rivera just retired from your team. There was controversy surrounding the team the entire season with the A-Rod situation and key players just seemed to be injured all year long. Now the biggest off season problem is what to do with all the free agents the Yankees are going to have, specifically Robinson Cano. Is there another team out there who might have their eyes on Cano? NBA: Lebron James on His Free Agency: “I Don’t Want to Go Back to Cold Winters”

Lebron James has an early termination option on his contract with the Miami Heat.  Like many big stars he’s expected to exercise it and join the free agent class of 2014 in order to secure a bigger and more long term contract.  While many teams are hoping to win the Lebron sweepstakes, this free agency won’t be like his last.  The chances of him leaving Miami aren’t that high and the chances of him returning to Cleveland are even lower.  Read more after the jump.

NBA: Uh-Oh, Pacers In Trouble!! Paul George Wants To Play With Who?

Is Paul George ready to leave town already? If your a real basketball fan you already knew the boy could ball, but he became a household name across the country during the recent NBA playoffs. He went back and forth with Lebron James, holding his own, and probably had the best dunk of the playoffs when he posterized Birdman, aka Chris Anderson. George is part of next years free agent class which is full of superstar names. From the sounds of it, he might be ready to become an even bigger star somewhere else. Hit the jump.

NBA: Monta Ellis Signs 3 Year Deal With Mavericks, Could Be for $30 Million!

Earlier this week, Monta Ellis narrowed his list of teams he might play with down to 4. Now it is only one. The Dallas Mavericks signed Ellis today to a 3 year contract that will be worth between $25-$30 million. He was definitely one of the best guards available through free agency. Many teams would of loved to get him, but he wanted some major money. The Mavs hope he will be able to help Dirk out with some scoring, but he has never been known for his defense and he takes alot of bad shots. Still, on any night he is capable of dropping 25-30 points. The Mavs needed someone after striking out on getting Dwight Howard.
