NBA: Brooklyn Nets Add Another Former All-Star

The Nets announced late last night they agreed to a 2 year contract with former All-Star Andrei Kirilenko. He was a all-star and a very good player when he was with the Utah Jazz years ago. He is a little older now but averaged about 13 points per game last season for the Timberwolves. Read more after the jump.

NBA:(Photo) WOW! Warriors Sign Andre Iguodala, Does That Mean No Dwight Howard?

The Warriors are going to be a very serious team next season, with or without Dwight Howard. They just signed free agent Andre Iguodala to a 4 year/$48 million dollar contract. Iguodala is a very good player and a deep Warriors team just got deeper. They already have Steph Curry, Harrison Barnes, Klay Thompson and Andrew Bogut. Added Iguodala they now have another certified all-star calibur player. Hit the jump to see more.

NBA(Video) Kings Trade Tyreke Evans To New Orleans Pelicans!

Tyreke Evans felt disrespected by the Sacramento Kings. Now he won’t have to deal with them. Evans felt the Kings should of stepped up earlier with a new contract offer after the work he has put in for the team since being drafted, but no real offer ever came. The offer that did come was 4 years/$44 million from the Pelicans. Instead of it being a free agent deal, it became a trade with the two teams, with the Kings getting Robin Lopez and Greivis Vasquez. I have no clue why the Kings didn’t make Evans a real offer. He was pretty much their best player and wasn’t a bad locker room guy, say like his now former teammate DeMarcus Cousins. I don’t expect either one of these teams to compete for a playoff spot this year, but at least Evans got his money. Watch the video about it after the jump.

Despite the Lakers recent pitch to Dwight which included a meeting with Kobe, Steve Nash, Coach Mike D’antoni and ownership, the feeling around the organization is they are not the leading team Dwight has on his mind to sign with. NBA: Ummm, THIS Was Kobe’s Pitch To Dwight Howard?!

I had to laugh when I saw this story.  It’s just such a Kobe thing to do and wouldn’t expect anything less. LMAO.  Kobe does want Dwight Howard to stay in LA right?!  I’m not sure if this was the best way to go about it (even if he is right).  The Black Mamba reportedly told Dwight that he can teach him how to be a champion — which a lot of fans interpreted it in a much different way.  Who know though — maybe it worked? More details of what Kobe said after the jump…
