Ali explained that the Fresh prince production learned later that ali can sing and ended up adding a scene with her vocals in. that is when Will asked her if she planned to take her singing seriously, and the rest was history! Tatyana Ali shot to fame in the early 90s as Ashley Banks on the classic show Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and even had a successful singing career toward the end of the 90s, going gold with her 1998 album, Kiss The Sky. The project spawned the top 10 U.S. hit, “Daydreamin’” as well as UK smash, “Boy You Knock Me Out”, but she was dropped from the label the next year and continued on with a successful acting career since then. With the new year comes new projects for the Brooklyn native, though, and she’s prepping a comeback with her new single “Wait For It” (which she recently performed on The Arsenio Hall Show) and a brand new EP, Hello. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is a classic sitcom. Who could ever forget when Will’s father showed up only to disappoint him by leaving again? Who was by his side – Uncle Phil! What about the time when Will had ‘speed’ in his locker and sent Carlton to the ER. Uncle Phil remained by his side. Or what about the time Will got hustled at the pool hall…you know it – Uncle Phil got those funds back. Although a television family, the group had a major bond that pulled us all in. RIP: ‘Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air’ Producer Jeffrey Pollack Found Dead On California Beach
54-year-old Jeffrey Ian Pollack has been found dead after collapsing in the Greenbelt jogging area in Hermosa Beach, California. Pollack is known for producing “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” along with directing “Above The Rim,” “Booty Call,” and “Lost & Found.” Pollack was discovered wearing a jogging outfit with an iPod in his hand when someone passing by noticed he had fainted and contacted the authorities immediately. Police said no foul play was detected. So sad!

The same year Will Smith debuted his television show “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” the Air Jordan V debuted. Will Smith was known to always stay with a fresh pair of kicks so of course he wore the Air Jordan V during his series. So “MJ’ has given us another sneaker to look forward to hooking us up with this new colorway inspired by “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air”.
