The last episode of the TV legacy “Late Night With David Letterman” came to an end last week. In Remembering Letterman Rolling Stone pays homage to our great Funk Flex and recognized that thanks to him, the voice of Letterman will be in fact forever imprinted in New York City.

The Global Spin Awards is back for its 3rd annual year, honoring some of the best DJ’s in the world. At a press conference earlier this week, Kid Capri, our own Funk Master Flex, DJ Premier, REVOLT CEO Keith Clinkscales, and Rob Kenner of Boomshots and Editor at Large at Mass Appeal did the honors of announcing the nominees for nearly 30 categories of DJ Culture. The full list of nominees as well as a short clip from the press conference are after the jump. The award show will take place November 18th at the New World Stage in NYC.
